front driveshaft guards

bought some maybe a year ago,tried to fit them today they dont fit by miles,anyone else had this problem?mike

what do you mean by they dont fit and where did you get them from? they mount via the break disk backing plate bolts.

they are supposed to be fitted by 2 m6 screws but they dont fit,the mounting holes are way out
i checked two other syncro wheel bearing housings and there all the same,they look very well made apart from not fitting,just curious if anyone else has had same problem.

i had some made a few years ago, on the drawings that i got from the phil landers website there was a fold on the bracket, which was not completely clear but i was able too fold/slightly bend them so the mounting holes lined up.

WHS^^^. fitted mine last week. Took the old brackets off, refurbed them , put thicker rubber back on than original and had a spot of bother getting back on. Especially the left hand one. Had to bend & twist bracket to get holes lined up, whilst trying to get stone guards on at same time. Did go eventually but either side clearly different .

my ones from Brickwerks fitted a couple a weeks ago no problem at all

there are a number of different suppliers you need to be specific about which supplier yours came from
