Re: Fallbarrow site in Bowness
Yes, we went a few times last year. Mainly because we wanted somewhere to stay very close to the town centre. I had a mate who used to live in Bowness so spent most of my spare time there the late 80s and 90s so always love to go back. We didn't spend any time on site apart from the evenings but if you have kids there is a play area, a pub with entertainment and a takeaway. Loads of great pubs in Bowness with dogs welcome-especially the Royal Oak. You can always check out the lodges for sale on site [250,000 pounds anyone].The last time we visited, there were three t25s on site.

the camping & caravan club have a site just round the corner on the gleeb, it was run by the caravan club but the lost the gig this year,
big saving on fallbarrow price and just as near to the town.
