split charge relay wiring

Post by johhny5 »

I think i have my split charge relay wired up ok as per the other posts and wiki i have seen.
However i have a white colured wire that has a piggy back connection, what is this for and where should it go on the relay, suspect its for the fridge relay or the charge leds on the panel,
would appreciate a little help
cheers

White? I'd trace that one if at all possible.

oh so the alternator trigger wire on terminal 86 on my split cahrge relay also acts as a trigger for the fridge relay ie, 12 v for fridge only works when the split charge relay is energised when your driving,
superb now i understand

I take it then the fridge relay is also being switched via the blue wire off the alternator charge light (so the fridge does not flatten the leisure battery when the engine is turned off).

Good upgrade...although I can see you may be struggling to keep things insulated and securely mounted.
Beat me to it lol
