Which Sikaflex?

Post by zed »

Anyone got any advice on which Sikaflex it is best to use to seal the fridge vent back on with? Obviously need to be able to get it off again in the future.

Thanks

Andy

221 is an adhesive sealant.
521 is a sealer but will stick things but not as good as 221.

I use 221 for my panel/ window joints and seals. I'm actually removing rusted screws from the roof and such and replacing with waterproof polyurethane construction gel glue on inside and 221 on outside. If you use some IPA or such like before applying sealant the stuff is very tricky to remove.
