Wind out awnings

Post by Cableguy »

Want to get one of these, but don't want to fix it to the gutters because my normal awning fixes to that.
The fiamma ones come with a gutter mount, but was wondering if anyone else has one fitted directly to the hitop roof above the gutters. Not sure how strong the fixing would be.
Can anyone help.
Thanks
Ray :ok

My fiamma windout awning has a C slot in the front that allows the securing tape of an awning to be threaded through it

If your's doesn't could you not fit one to it?

I wouldn't like something that heavy bolted to a thin fibre glass and plastic roof

Although the slot on the front of the Fiamma will take the awning bead it can leave the sides a bit gappy for me so I cut the FIG 8 into smaller sections and use on the gutter in between the brackets :ok
