Re: Kevtherevagon
Awesome
, did he bring the lower grill up with him so that he could screw on the final piece?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!

Re: Kevtherevagon
yes I did carry the grill and lights to fit when I got there.
OK
As Mike pulled up and I caught a glimpse, I swear my heart skipped.
The photos for once do not do this justice, the colour is rich and deep, like it's been painted a dozen times.
The repair and renovation work is invisible and so tidy, that I have had to refer to this thread to remind myself where it all is.
Drove home and stopped four times to look at it.. in the fuel station was good, the assistant had to get my attention, to pay. I simply couldn't take my eyes off her, from a distance the colour is so striking ... amongst modern day cars she looks like a tart at a WI meet.
Getting home, we set about installing the new floor and floor covering, tidying and removing the myriad of wires that Mike discovered, doing nothing but confusing things and being a tad dangerous.
Woke up this morning full of determination, the rejuvenation of our beloved camper has inspired us into rapid interior refit mode...that and we're off camping in a couple of weeks..
Thank you all for your kind comments.. But most of all thank you Mike for... this
I'll post some pictures up later as the work on Carol continues.
