RHD turns up in Germany

Post by syncro up »

Interesting find so far away from home.
Maybe its a retaliation for us taking all their LHD vans?

Far too much money for a yoke thats missing stuff and a fooked engine. There should be quite a few RHD vans over there as the postal services in Germany and Austria used them

I think it was only the Swiss post service that had RHD, Deutsche Post just use normal LHD.

I just noticed I posted German post office ..... I meant Swiss and Austrian. There is an ex Swiss Post Office Syncro with a walk through bulkhead here in Ireland lying in a field and I recently bought a RHD power steering rack from a lad in Austria who mentioned that it came from the Postal services there.

Sorry for the error ..... I blame the drugs

If anyone does decide to liberate the van.

I have a good 2.1 engine available.

Cheers.

if they are like the bay and splittie post vehicles they will be RHD and right hand sliding door! all to do with pavements and not getting knocked over when delivering or collecting post, which makes sense. except the one in the ig16 ad shows left hand sliding door.

RHD with a right sliding door... must be of interest to a few on here as it would take a westy interior.
