I have my bus on mains hookup on the drive to let the onboard charger maintain the batteries.
Look like I left the fridge on mains for a while and may have burrned something out. Now when I switch the fridge to mains it throws the mains RCD's out.
Has anyone had experience of this? I am guessing switch or heater element on the fridge, both expensive so if anyone can shed some light to point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.
It is the original Auto sleeper Electolux unit.

Re: Fridge Tripping Mains Out
Most likely to be the element , insulation breaking down will cause the rcd to trip.
Another possibility is water in the fridges 240v wiring, had any leaks recently or sprayed water through the fridge vents ?
If it is the element your only option is to buy a new one or manage with gas.
