Door mirrors!!

Post by gelert1 »

Anyone else finding out their passenger door mirrors are useless. I have a LHD and would love to be able to use the passenger door mirror! The one that came with the vehicle couldn't be adjusted to be able to see properly and two others bought recently are the same, the last one from Gunzyl so I thought would be a proper job. I think I have seen on here people fitting a different type - more of a lorry type? - so I imagine the problem is not just me. Any ideas of the best solution? I did think of filing the bottom bracket a bit to allow the top bit to swivel more.

Are you sure they don't move? They are very stiff and at first I thought they didn't move but then got confident enough to use a bit more force. There's not loads of movement range but enough.
Just be careful not to twist the bit where the glass is as the glass has a tendency to crack
