I have a 1988 T25 with the 1600TD engine. Does the cylinder head have hydraulic valve lifters or the shimmed tappets ? I have been told all of the heads are of the shimmed tappet type, but i have read some have hydraulic lifters. Could somebody please shed some light on this.
Thanks.

Re: JX cylinder head question
I was under the impression that they were all shim type buckets.
It's not rust, they're heat blisters....

Thats what i was told but in the Just Kampers workshop manual ( available in all good stores)
it states that some have hydraulic lifters.
