Subaru EJ20 conversion - wiring problem

Post by gazc »

hi

spoke to richard at rjes today and he was extremely helpful with getting the right parts for our conversion. unfortunately he's booked up till mid june now for the wiring harness work :( a shame as we really want to get or van back on the road for may and our mechanic is already lined up to do the work and we have a donor car sat outside the house (impreza 1996 - providing a bit of fun too! :D )

does anyone know any other companies that offer a wiring harness conversion service or where we can get wiring diagrams so our mechanic could do it for us? he said he should be able to do it but will need the wiring diagrams. the donor car is a 1996 subaru impreza sportswagon 2.0L (non turbo)

thanks

Have you asked Richard if you could buy a set of wiring diagrams...you would need a set for future reference. If your lucky a club member might have something you could refer too. Another avenue might be speaking to Spannerboy..he has done a few conversions and might be in a position to help...
There is a wealth of info on this forum, maybe your mechanic could pick up a few tips from here....if all fails and nothing materialises closer to home...have a go at reaearching Vanagon sites from America, Germany and South Africa.
Good luck with it...
Tom
