Thanks for the speedy reply, I'll give him a ring to let him know. He's fitting parking sensors, along with a whole lot of other stuff. Hes ace (and bored - just retired aged 73)

All fitted and working. Thanks! It seems he is now getting carried away with his boredom and sent latest pics of a stripped out bed and the start of sanding all the units. Got to love him!

If he is gets bored after finishing the work on your Syncro he can come to mine for a action packed few weeks. I've neglected my house since owning T25's. There's load of jobs to keep him occupied!! :D

Who told you that nonsense? Any vehicle with parking sensors can also have a tow hitch. Unless you have a really cheap set of aftermarket tat then you will have no problems

FYI
Brown - earth
Black -ignition live.

Vw seem to stick to standard wiring colours, it's probably a DIN standard but I've yet to be bothered to find it.
All VWs I've ever worked on seem to follow the same code so one you get to know what your looking at its fairly simple to follow.

Grey seem to be side lights, so grey with blue is dash illumination, grey red is side lights, yellow dim beam, yellow black the other side dip beam, white high beam, white black high beam on the other side.
Indicators black white and black green etc...
I've got them written down somewhere..
