Fuel gauge has stopped working...:(
where should i look first?
i presume there are wires from top of tank?

Hello,

there is a sender unit on the top of the tank which can fail - if you can get at the sender wire and earth it it should move the gauge to full (I think - can't remember exactly). I would check the multipin connector to the dashpod first - clean up the contacts there and check the PCB connections. there is a voltage regulator to the fuel gauge and temperature sender which can also fail, but in which case your temp gauge would also not work.

Thanks mate actualy i dont think temp gauge is working also .... oops
where is this voltage regulator?

Hello,

can't find a picture of the dashpod, but it's behind the fuel gauge there - a three pin black thing with a screw through it.... check out this thread:

It was that!
working now and easy to fit although i had to bend the prongs
to fit in
easy fix for £2!
