coolant level sensor O-ring

Post by garyd »

Hi,
can anyone tell me the part number for the O-ring seal for the coolant level sensor, please?

This is the sensor in the top of the header tank/bottle - VW part No 251 919 372 A according to Brickwerks.

I am wondering whether this O-ring is a common part and used in other VAG vehicles. If it is I might be able to get it from my local car dealership rather than having to travel to the commercial dealers in another town.

thanks

Garyd

The sensor is not common to anything else.. as far as I can gather.

Several companies online that sell o-rings - long as you know size.

one of many: http://www.polymax.co.uk/acatalog/O-Rin ... lymax.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Roller paint your camper at home: http://roller.epizy.com/55554/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for MP4 download.
