Cripes, this thread is even bringing in hardened Yardies now - Welcome max & caddy

What a long strange trip it's been
Re: 2wd as good as a syncro!
Could we have some locations (in your Profile) please, for newcomers to Syncro forum
It's just that it's...
a) a bit of a Syncro thing, we like locations
b) good manners
c) we're an inquisitive lot
ta!

Oh Cooper, at least you make us laugh, or me anyway...
A herd of pigs, my great grandad kept pigs, think the collective noun he used was... 'a field of...' or '.an orchard of...' or 'a family of...', or 'a styful of...'
Never heard any reference to a herd, how about ' a gig of pigs'

Re: 2wd as good as a syncro!
Well I spent a few good hours yesterday communicating with the sellers of a couple of the Finnish Syncro's on behalf of Cooper, then spent some time planning temp licence plates, insurance, and of course the route back to the UK from sellers location here in Finland.
After lots of PM's to and from me and Cooper, filling her in on prices/costs, route to get Syncro to her door, she now is no longer interested in either the dark blue Syncro I posted on a previous page, or the light blue Syncro.
So if anyone else is interested in these, I can confirm that both are still both available, with the light blue one is ready to drive away, just needs the paperwork filling in, and paid at the licence office, €20 Euros, and its then insured to drive back to the UK.

Wow. What a guy. All that hard work! After being on other forums (other hobbies) for some time now, I am still quite astounded at how supportive, helpful (and patient
) members are on this forum.
I hope all your hard work finds those vans a good home

Re: 2wd as good as a syncro!
Im sure it will, after all, I managed to source myself a bargain Syncro here, and its been the most fun, and best investment I have made. Love it!
Oh, and yes, 80-90 is my second home due to the good nature, and community we have here, I was quite new once like many, and have been welcomed, and helped along the way in my mission in getting my Syncro.

You're not alone Mickey, I also got quite a lot of pm's about mine that came to naught, but I'm putting it down to youthful over-enthusiasm...
