'A 4x4 Is Born'

Post by Diamond Hell »

In a fit of highly random TV watching (I rarely watch TV) I caught the first episode of this Goon-Fest. It's presented by a Goon called Mark Evans and co-presented by random Goons with beards.

What it is is a build of a Land Rover hybrid 100". Now you wouldn't have thought that was terribly relevant to Syncros, but there's lots of useful technical snippets (e.g. 'how does a plasma cutter work, Pete-mate?' 'It's kinda like a plasma TV only different, Mark' *sniggering* 'No, actually....etc') in there as well as it being a seriously good watch.

Best of all if you've got Telewest like The Bird insisted that we have it's on a thing called Teleport TV - this means you can watch the series whenever you want. Anyone with cable who wants to watch this should check to see if they have this - well worth several hours viewing.

If you haven't got this, but have satellite it's on Discovery Real Time or something. It's on Thursdays at 6:00 or 6:30

I really enjoyed all the ... is born programmes when I had digital TV, but then it was taken away, so I cant watch it any more. I think theyre brilliant, and your man Mark Evans is a very good presenter, as an alternative to some of the stiffs you see presenting other programs like that. I never figured out why he has to put everything on his head though!
