ok .. its booked into the paint shop for a quick blow over Thursday ! so need to get my a*** into gear and get rid of the last bits of rust before then .... i know the paintshop owner ,so doing mates rates if i do all the prep work .. which i know is the most important bit .. but to be honest .. i just want it all the same colour for now !

stripped off the power/water fittings .. more rust...
Image

started slapping some filler on the rear wing ...
Image

noticed some dents in the rear vent area ,

Image

slap some primer on it

Image

bloody rain .. working on street as well ..

Image

repairing rust around water/mains fittings .. might buy some new fittings .. we shall see..

Image

ground welds down , slapped some more filler on it !
Image

feel my mpg going down everytime i replace rust with filler ! LOL

Image
not going to be perfect , but it will be around the fittings anyway so they should hide any bumpy ness

Image

and took bumpers off..

still loads to do :(

I love reading this..

You've inspired me to takle my van.
I have to work in the street and didnt like that,
but seeing the great work you have done and how helpfull I've found some of your stories and pics. Ive puchased a mig welder and intend to make mine more respectable.

Keep up the good work
I like them tall and rough.. flat fours sound the best even if its got less power than a flymo!!

Wow you're going to be chuffed when you see that standing pround in the daylight! :ok
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!
