Drive Belt Changes.

This thread has probably be done a thousand times but here is another one.I want to change my alternator drive belt and powersteering belt and a friend said to change the tensioners aswell because they might be worn.I've looked around using eurocar parts and cant find anything..Any ideas please help!!!..I have a 1.9 westfalia hightop t25.

If it's a 1.9 petrol there are no 'tensioners', they are on cam belts and a 1.9DG wbxer doesn't have a cambelt.

and if its a 1.9 diesel it doesn't have one on the alt and PS belts either!

As others have said...I think your friend has been listening to someone talking about cam belts which do have tensioners..... the Wasserboxer flat 4 fitted to your Westy does not.......
