Full beam but no dip beam...

Afternoon,

after some electrical mischief on my van I've reinstated the wipers and dash light as being a faulty ignition switch. So, the next problem the headlights come on as side lights when you push the switch, full beam comes on if you pull the stalk and no dip beam....

Where should I chase this fault to do we think!

actually, been reading, I might just sack the whole lot off and do the relay mod...
