I'll get it back to you Andrew, thanks for the loan

PS still no closer to finding a source for the u/j...b'stard ZF and their special splines. Almost worth designing an adaptor to do away with the thing and fit a readily available one!

If there was a decent supply of RHD steering racks then it might pay you to do that ok!

Cheers Si, you know that I would do too! Get investigating that brace of beauties you told me about  I'll take the 222k Legacy back for a song in the meantime, if you haven't raided it for bits? What was up with it anyway, noisy rear diff? I'll stuff it with bananas

@ Nick: Sell my SA's ?!!! Far too useable on a daily basis from where I'm sitting.

:idea Of course if it doesn't go, then I've got enough parts to assemble a carb'ed 2.1 MV, that'd be nice and torquey and not too thirsty.

I suppose I'll need more torque to ferry the tea urn about  ...but I mustn't get distracted from the 2wd masterplan!

I saved the lsd for the 2.6, just in case 8)

I would have thought Mr cooper would have handed his cheque over by now for this, i know it's not diesel but it is ripe for a diesel conversion at a later date.

Looks nice and straight, a very good platform I'd say.

I like your SA but that syncro would the keeper for me.

I am half tempted myself.

good luck

Andrew: I'll dig it out and take some. The ZF (?) part number doesn't google...

Ian: well it's straight enough and a lot more solid after I reconstructed that sill end and replaced the swingarm mount...the bottoms of both sliders do need attention (oops that should be in the ad - better do it now!)

Better stop discussing the van since we don't allow that here - do we

Pics of LSDs aren't that interesting, they look fairly much like any other LSD.
It's the oil spec that's a bit of a mare.
