It's got to be worth a bash.
I would imagine that you could get the CL motors working and rig up some mechanical connection.

I think the windows may present a bigger problem.

Let us know how you get on as I have a set of electric windows and CL from my donor Passat.

Thats what I thought, Thought id ask if anyone had done it before. I Suppose its just a case of getting the vaccuum hoses long enough to reach,

No, the're Vaccuum, from a pump that sits behind the rear right light. Its wrapped up in foam so you cant see it. Works the same on my Mk2, which has a clifford alarm with remote cl and remote start. Might see if i can get the same set up on the van.

Well this was a non starter, The tailgate actuator would work fine but the others are all built into the locks. More trouble than its worth!

You could give it a bash, but the vacuum set up is notoriously dodgy when factory fitted to Mk3 (Golfs). It was one of the reasons we sold ours - far too pricey to put right. It may well work - but for how long

And when it does jam, it's a bit of a *****rd to sort
What a long strange trip it's been
