Under seat stowage

I was told when i bought my van that there was space under the front seats for a lesure battery, can anyone comfirm this and if so whats the best way to access the space ie seats out or slide forward/backwards.
Im stil getting to know my van and not found anything as yet.

well the seats slide back and forth dont they? if you slide them forward the lid at the rear of them hinges up and there you go

right. thanks, ill have a play tomorrow. Iv not had the buddy seats out yet so not had a proper look.
