Body shape changes...
I have a 1983 lhd and the sliding door has just been wacked... I have seem a door on ebay that says 1985 onwards so i guess it will not fit. Can anyone tell me the range of years I can be looking for? I'm starting to think it would be easier to search for rocking horse dodo.....

yep it would be easier.
you'll need patience and maybe a bit of luck at a VW show like Vanfest, Bustypes, Deva, BVF... lot of t25 traders there.
doors changed in 1985 so that might fit as it was the crossover year.

thanks kev.. its on ebay for £250 (to me that seems like a stupidly high price) and it looks like the well the the door handle is a different shape. I think i'm gona bash out the enormous dent and do my best with the filler.

Re: Body shape changes...
can you use a late door to replace the dented stuff in a cut section?
post a picture up of the damage, there's plenty here can give you some great advice with body repairs.
easier than bashing and filling... less filler means a better profile

Really? it seems so expensive to me... unfortunatly it looks like its not early enough for my bus as advert says its 85 onward (the door handle recess looks smaller than on my 83) so not an option
