LHD T3 DOKA Big Front Bumper replacement.

Hope someone can help....
I was parallel parking my today when an old boy hurrying to get his wife to an eye appointment overtook and tried to get past myself and a traffic island...... He ended up using his back wheel like a cheese grater on my front bumper.
He seemed like a straight up kind of a guy with a rather grumpy wife..... Who he ended telling to get back in the car.... He has offered to pay for a new one without going through insurance. I am happy to fit the new one myself.
with this comes a couple of questions....
My old one appears to be a GRP type material.
would the origional been a similar material or is mine an after market replacement?
Where can I get an appropriate good quality replacement?

no more rusty bits do them, can't advise on quality, try VW Heritage for a quote on a genuine one if they are still available
