insurance want quote for the repairs to my van. problem is nobody seems to be doing new bull bars. i`m aware of the law but need to somehow quote for replacement of original bar.

Surely a quote email from one of the usual syncro suppliers say £XYZ for bullbars would suffice for insurance purposes?
