Good deed.. but cost me a shackle

Post by toomanytoys »

Popped over to my sisters today.. on the way.. came across a transit trying to pull an astravan out of the verge, without success.. (and using a bit of blue "string") so dutifully stopped and offered a pull.. shackled up and dragged it out.. as I was now accross the main road (not any traffic about) quickly dropped the shackle and tow strap off and threw it in the back of the truck.. many thanks and appretiation given.. :ok

Went on my way to my sisters, where I grabbed the strap, to wipe down and roll back up.. only to realise I had 2 shackles on the end when I connected it.. and now only one in the truck....... Bugger!!!! left the other on the back of the astra van......... ah well.. it was only a 4 quid one from machine mart... annoyed with myself for not paying attention... and machine mart are 30 odd miles away...

Not enough snow about to make it fun and its nearly all gone.....

But hopefully some good karma in the bank.... the bloke will wonder wha tthat annoying rattle is for a bit though...
