Re: Maggiolina roof tent system
I have the Overland Journal Mag at home with the roof tent reviews. This one scored high on setting it up, but failed on lots of other points compared to the other popular choices out there. I would be happy to forward on any info from it if anyone was thinking of buying this roof tent.

Re: Maggiolina roof tent system
could you post up a summary, or the final table of scores. think that would be an interesting read. did they have a test for horizontal british rain?

Is yours an Eezi-Awn 1200? if so its in the article. I am just having a look through the mag and the Maggiolina isnt in it as I thought, but the Columbus that I think is from the same people is. I remember reading about the Maggiolina on an online review now a few years ago now thinking back, but can crack on and add something still if you like?

It was me...I'm still shopping around before committing hard cash that I don't have just now! Has to sleep 3 for my family needs. The Maggiolinas appeal to me for the obvious reasons, nice and aerodynamic etc but faffing around with add-on awnings doesn't quite do it for me.

No mine is a Prime Tech from the States. I choose it on the cost vs useage ratio and its grand in that respect but if I was out in it in all weathers every other weekend then I have reservations on its suitability. I looked hard and long at the Maggiolina but couldnt justify the cost.

You will find that all of these roof tents have a complete range of attachments for you to faff about with

Same for me. I cant find anything much less than £1300 for the Mag. I'd rather something a little less hard core with fewer zeros...
