Dalek head?

Just bought a new one from GSF and I can blow through in both directions with ease, this can not be right but I tested 2 in the shop and both were the same.

That does not sound right, Ive just ordered a new one as i knackered mine with kseal- blows both ways with ease.
My new one better not be the same.

I have had one of these too. (then I got a proper VW one from Brickerks !)

You know stuff like this really should be "dealt with". The consequences of having a faulty from new Dalek cap could result in a kn@ckered engine and a £1000 plus bill

I wonder what GSF / JK would say if you screwed up an engine because of this and tried to make a claim against them.

I would tell them about this in no uncertain terms ( I did )

I take it you're not meant to be able to blow through them then? I thought it sucked water from the expansion tank when it needed it (cooling down) and returned it when the system was hot/pressurised.....

Confusesd now, ive just opened my new from from heritage and it blows both ways!

Ahh i think this is working ok as cant blow through the spring, there must be a bypass in the body of it to allow the top to be open naturally.
