Interior heating system

Post by gumball »

Hello,

Can anyone tell me where the air is drawn from for the interior heating system is on a 1982 Aircooled t25, there is the rubber connector that goes from the alternator fan housing to the rear panel in the engine bay but I cant find the intake. I am guessing the intake is just behind the rubber connector in the panel or the air is drawn through a channel in the rear panel from each side of the engine bay.

I really wanted to know if the air is drawn from inside the engine bay or from outside.

Cheers

Yes the channel leads outwards to the bottom of the vents section on the vans rear quarters, you could argue this is as much in the engine bay as outside!!
It is by will alone that I set my 'van' in motion!
