Cheers Lloydie doesnt sound brilliant but i still wouldnt mind seeing it for myself, not expecting to get a particularily clean van for that kind of money. Basically just need to see if its worth repairing or completely @*$%#&. :|

I think it's rescue-able at the right price, I offered 3K which i think he was a bit offended by,.... but he didn't seem to want to negotiate.....told me i wanted something cheap which he didn't think his van was.......then drove off!

My quest staggers on.....

standard 185 tyres, don't forget a lot of what you see pics of on here/you tube etc... have been lifted and are running bigger tyre combos, and a lot of pics are of 16" vans
but rear springs are quite likely to be missing pigtails

I've tried several times to contact this guy and he doesn't respond to his emails or phone messages. Maybe because I'm asking questions he doesn't know the answer to.

Maybe he finds your name a bit disconcerting!.....
He knew nothing about it other than it was a syncro....and was worth 5K.

Cooper : didn't drive it so couldn't check the syncro gear. he told me he was advised by the previous owner not to touch the diff locks.......engine was lumpy- maybe injectors or pump/timing.

Why do people get caught up on on RHD? It's only really important when overtaking and lets face it most of us are lucky to keep up with traffic let alone PASS it!!
