Brake Lights!

Post by Steve T »

Could any one please confirm that brake lights will operate without the ignition switched to live, I see on the Haynes it is connected to track 30 which I believe is permanent live.
Thanks

Thank you, I was doing a pre MOT check and left my one man brake light tester in place (Piece of wood between steering wheel and pedal) after turning ignition off with my tester still in place and found the lights still on, just presumed they would only be live with ignition on!

cheers
