j ,ust wanted to say a big thank you for all your help, fitted the unit today started it from cold after depressing the accelerator and it fired up at roughly 2000rpm gave it a blip and dropped further then once warm normal tickover going to fit a tacho next week so i'll have a better idea what rpm its doing :ok

oh yeah white dials ..they do help at night with the candles on the dash ilumination :D

well started it this morning and it sat there ticking over :D need to fit the tacho to get it perfect and get it on a gas analyzer but its an improvement on what it was
if you dont mind me asking kev whats the best way to route the wires from the tacho to the coil ? cheers jeff

I don't mind at all.
best route is to follow the brake lines to the gearbox then up to the junction box, then directly to the coil.
