It's too cheap by far! NO really, it's too cheap! January sale price. You won't find one like that for so little in a few months, when the sun comes outjed the spread wrote: £5995 will buy you this (though its not officially up for sale yet) It has power steering, brand new fully rebuilt gearbox with under 10 miles on it and under warranty for 12 months, very solid and jammed packed full of VW goodies. Not the usual bashed in rusty doka full of filler...

Re: Want want want a syncro
I so cant wait to get a syncro. And then join the club.
Well i have bitten the bullet and put my precious mini up for sale and will do the same with my only car.
I would sell my kidney if i could to get one.
Well hopefully i will have enough to buy one.
No more rust buckets or endless projects.
I am planning on making it my own little piece of heaven. With a big smile.

Re: Want want want a syncro
Remember a great tip, don't buy the first one you see, or at least, don't buy with your heart. If you can find someone who knows their way around a Syncro, get them to go with you to view, and don't buy in the dark, or without seeing the vehicle in the flesh first, although the latter is a gamble.

Re: Want want want a syncro
Good advise.
Im itching to get one. I have to gamble tho with selling my only daily car and buying a syncro.
I have to time it well.
I cant believe how hard it is to find a rhd diesel in my price range.
Well when i do finally get one im never letting it go.

Re: Want want want a syncro
Is it possible to convert lhd to rhd?
How much you recon it will cost?
How hard to find parts?
Ok well i didnt think i would say this but im probably going to get a lhd. But i need a diesel.
For about £4000 maybe a little more.

Re: Want want want a syncro
If you plan touring LHD would be more suitable anyway for the Continent.

Re: Want want want a syncro
Lhd doesn't matter in a Syncro you are well above other cars most car roofs come up to the windscreen
and lhd parts are more availble
having a rhd and lhd think I actually prefer the lhd
plus great when on the continent a conversion would be expensive and a pain to find parts

Re: Want want want a syncro
When your driving down the road and see a tight parking spot I personally find it very useful being right next to the kerb and you can pull off some amazing reverse parking in a LHD car. You will find lots more sexy bits to buy for a LHD van too
You also have the benefit pulling up to a drive through and getting that all to familiar double take by a spotty youth in a booth as they think a 6 year old has taken a big jacked up camper for a joy ride and started to feel peckish
