T25 Gutter Trim ends

Post by Julie and Jonah »

We are doing up our camper van and are having trouble finding a set of these anywhere. One went on E Bay last week for £27.00! unbelievable. Just Kampers do not sell them although they do sell the centre piece.
Anybody have any ideas on what we can do. :D

Hi and yes it's a problem for everyone.

Some are secretly hoping that Herr Gunzl will remanufacture them in Germany as he's probably got the tooling or knows who supplied them to VW originally. Either that or VW Classic Parts (also in Germany) will re-stock them as the level of desperation in T3 circles across Europe certainly justifies it.

(tip: this sort of thing goes down well in Technical, Alternative and Modified < Bodywork)

Supply and demand I'm afraid ... you want the parts and they aren't available so the ebay price is what peeps are willing to pay.

I'd PM Billy739 on here, he's a van breaker and will no-doubt have some knocking around ?

Yes the mini ones fit providing they're warm when fitted and you use some kind of mastic. My chrome ones have been on for six years.

Take Cov Kids advice, only manipulate your end when it's warm.
