Hey Guys, just got back from a week in Austria, Voralberg region in the Brandnertal/Brandner Valley. This was the worst effected area of the recent snow storms in Austria. But Brandnertal is the first valley from the lowlands, so it wasnt too bad for us.
Had 4 days of brilliant sunshine, then 2 days of snow (over 1 metre per day). Drove from Munich and back with the bus, its only 3 hours along 1 motorway, so nothing too elaborate. On the return trip had the snow chains on briefly to get up a small hill from the Farm we were staying at, but rain the night before cleared up the main roads completely.
Learnt how to skii now, progressing from the Big foots to proper long (carving) skis. I can snowboard a little too, but wanted to learn skiing.
Just after arriving
