Wood Burner?

Post by PBY »

Has anyone ever converted their awning so as to be able to put a wood burner / stove in? I have seen people use them in bell tents and would be really toasty when the real bad weather arrives.
I hate the wind!

two things that would concern me.
1/ in a high wind and the awning breaks free from it moorings.
2/ the heat from the flue against or near canvas (obviously not the nylon awnings)

bell tents and tee pees are stable enough to have flues whereas an awning is a flappy thing in the wind.

but otherwise done right it's a goer for me.
I prefer the ebber on full and the slider open... same result :D
