glow plug relay help
the problem i am have. its a 1.6 td t25 engine the glow plug light does not come on, this is what i have done bought a new relay first thing, traced the wires to the from of the cab to the back. changed all the connectors on the glow plug block. i still cannot get the light to come on. here's the weird thing if i pull the relay virtually out of the relay holder the relay light comes on but if u push it to its factory fitted state it no worky anybody any ideas cheers in advance

Hello,
the glow plug light from the relay provides an earth for the glow plug light, which gets it's power from the dashpod - I'd suggest you check the connectors in the relay holder itself - it sounds like you might need to take that off and clean it up - bit fiddly but possible. I'd verify that by running a wire from an known earth the "L" pin holder in the relay. It's possible to pull the crimp connector from the relay holder if you're careful. The wire you're after is a white wire with red trace, that connects to a 3-pin connector in that box if that's helpful.
