chin spoiler in need of a tidy up

hi all,
my bluestar has recently come back from the paint shop and looks great, but i have the usual fading / greyness of the chin spoiler. can anyone recommend the best way to bring this back to life. I can see there are a lot of bumper care products out there, would something like this do the job, or does it need removing and spraying with some type of paint ?
any ideas would be great, as i am eager to get this done as i feel its the only thing lacking the van down now.

I did mine with plastic primer and Halfords Satin black

comes up like new!

Ahhhhh, good old satin black. Amazing stuff. Just watch wheeler dealers. They love it.

Ours is about 50% gaffer tape. Turned out that it used to be about 50% filler and pop-rivets, since it keeps grounding...

thats chaps, will get along to halfords and find the satin black tomorrow morning.
guessing they are easy to remove ? from a quick look it does appear to be complete.

Depends on how bodged or rusty the screws are, as ever - if they're good, then yes.

Yeh, I thought that, too... But ours had been freshly painted. If yours is all faded, there's a good chance it's not been battered too badly.

thanks for the help, while i am tacking this job i may as well tidy up the front grilles, i am guessing the best thing to bring these back to life is the usual back to black etc etc ? or is there something else, much better for the job ?

I use back to black and then a silicone spray.

Boiled Linseed oil is supposed to work wonders, And cheap as chips too.

Suggested to me by a professional valet bloke was to use peanut butter on any faded plastic parts. Seems to work pretty good. Just don't do what my missus did and buy the chunky variety tho'.
