There are no direct matches. RAL colours are RAL colours and most other colours derivatives therefater from mixing. Mind you, imagine rollering with glass epoxy paint:

Hi cov kid. I am preping my camper at the mo ready to paint in the spring. I have bought your DVD and has given me the motivation to have a go myself. The problem is I cant find those sponge brushes any where. I have been to all the £1 shops in Wolves B&Q and Wickes and asked my local shop to order me some but cant get any! I have the sponge rollers and paint. any idea's?

You can use a 1" paintbrush if pushed but you can often find them on ebay. These would do I should think

You could also try an arts & craft shop. Try and get some practice first and always work the roller on something (laminated or smooth surface preferably) before you hit the van as it'll tend to produce tiny air bubbles until all the air is out of the roller. What colour you going

Thre's a JTF warehouse in Tamworth if it's not too far away. They sell a bag of 15 assorted sizes for £1 in the arts and crafts aisle in the Preston branch
You have to join but it takes minutes on the day.

Have you tried The Range, dont know if they in your area, but they were selling them, i left mine in my shed and the bloody mice got in and have decided they like the taste of them.

Paintimg mine orange. 2004 was the color I went for but when I got it home her in doors didn't like it so a took it back and had some red mixed into it. It is now the only color like it!! they have the mix code on file if I want some more. I have a whtre roof which i painted a couple of weeks ago. Got the paint from a local boat yard as it it fibre glass. The roof only goes back two thirds of the way then i have a white fixed tin top with a black roof rack. Nice to be a little different. Managed to get some sponge brushes from amazon. 25 for less than a fiver. Not very good though as they snap quite easy! Now I know what I am looking for I will get some more. Will post a few pics when I can. Cold weather has stopped play.

Here too and it's absolutely killing me! I hate half finished projects and there's still a fair bit to do on my van, the wait is so frustrating. I remember it reaching 17 degrees during the Feb half term a few years ago (2009?), I'm hoping we'll see some warmer weather head this way soon, winter's gone on for just a little too long for my liking.

I have a few photos here now. I have kept the paint away from the rubbers as they all need to come out so I will take them out, paint the frames and fit new rubers in the spring. Onl one coat on one side back and front.

The interior was painted white and then a realy nice sponge effect with silver hammerite!!! I have now made new doors and I am in the middle of hand painting them while the outside temp is soooo cold!

Looking good for one coat. You askd me what colour code mine was and I'd actualy just logged on to finally let you know, although I guess it's too late now. If any one else might be interested in the future, I went for RAL2002. Looking deeper than it did in the first photos I posted, about four coats later. Could do with some more but the garage has to come down next week to build an extension. I'll get some photos posted then.
