The only other vehicle I'd go for is a RangeRover Sport or a old chrome heavy Merc, both V8's before they become illegal!!

While some classic cars are more beautiful (& too expensive) and the 911 more track fun (love to do a road-trip to the Nuremberg ring in one, Top gear stylee).
Pound for Pound the T3, 2wd or 4wd, are unbeatable. :ok

Problem with the old stuff is that it deteriorates very quickly and storage is a pre requisite. Prices on some of the oldies are heading upwards these days!

Its easy really....

In the signature CJ is from 'Cullompton/exeter club' , joined in 2005 and has made squillions of posts.

Jon / Ash are from South Molton / north devon, , joined fairly recently and have made very little posts.....

But i hear what you're saying, but on the whole, CJ really isnt around very much so there's little confusion to be had (but when he is .....usually a friday or saturday night around 10-11pm   )

Who reads and takes any notice of signatures ... ? Most are not filled in, most of those that are filled in dont make sense any way! Neither member are around very much and neither have made many posts ...... easy mistake to make.

Think I saw something like a UAZ in an old series of Porridge when Fletch went out for the day. Not much of a looker. Thats not going to tempt me to sell mine.

Have to do better than that!!

I would certainly consider a 4x4 LT like Russel's.

Lee Ah, now we're talking.

Capable off road, but still a bit more cramped than a syncro panel van!

Tom

Russel van is awesome but would it be to high for some of the places we can go?
