Ortec clamp

dose any one know if the ortec wheel carrier clamp (the part which attaches to the back door) is available separately and if so where can it be bought from? or dose some one have a pic of it?

IIRC they are very like a typical german-pattern shovel clamp as used on bundeswehr vehicles etc.

I have a couple but I don't really want to sell em I'm afraid. I got em off a guy selling Kubelwagen bits at a show a few years ago and I've no idea where you could order them. Sorry... :mrgreen:

You should pick them up in any farm supply shop ..... you know the type of place where you can buy worming tablets, wellies and galvanised gates :rofl

suppose you could use a quickfist or similar as an alternative? (either temp or permanant)

could use as a temp fix to at least get you mobile/saves taking it off completely

Good man ! I did spend some time googling and looking on Ebay for 'Spatenhalter' and 'Verschlusslager', but I was only finding the newer style of clamp with the rubber strap.
