wonder if someone can help me please ? just upgraded my dash lights to leds went to change the bulb in the heater control panel and theres no power to it yet all other lights work ? its a 1983 model with the torpedo shaped fuses ive checked the fusebox info on brickyard but cant see a fuse that it could be :?: cheers jeff

Are you sure there's no power there? Only reason I ask is because when I did mine a few months ago the contacts inside the bulb holder were a bit knackered so when I stuck the LED in it didn't work. Took some delicate bending of the tiny wire contacts to connect with the LED.

I think the power for the heater panel light comes via the headlight switch. If the dash LEDs are working then I doubt its a fuse problem. Can you trace the wires back to see if they've been damaged somewhere between the bulb holder and the headlight switch / instrument panel?

And I'm sure you know and you've already tried, but LEDs only work one way round, so try turning it round.
