If it is a panel van conversion the rubbers will sit proud of the metal. If its a factory window they are recessed into the panel. If your stuck post a picky. If you need a piece for a factory window i have a frame i use for repairs so i could cut you a bit off.

There's a window or 2 repaired in this one somewhere (if yours was a panel van) Jon.

Thanks for that link . From what I can see then mine is a panel van with added windows. I can see that my grinder and welder are gonna be getting some action very soon. Would it be worth doing a thread with all the jobs im doing or is it a subject thats been done to death already. I dont want to bore folk. Whilst im on about the windows who is the cheapest supplier of new window rubbers.( call me a typical yorkshire man )

Ok youve twisted my arm. Some of you might know its previous owner, Phred. If nothing else id like him see his old bus get a new lease of life;-). Having got started with the poking and proding of the panels I reckon that given another year or two things would have got realy nasty. As it is, I think ill manage to sort it and hopefully it will give Andrea, the dogs and me some good holidays . Ps the bus is gonna be called Jambo, if you wanna know why ask phred;-)
