Many seem to have solved this by simply using a cable tie at the bottom of the vent. This diverts the water away quite nicely. Fella you need to speak to is AngeloEVS as I know he did this although using a watering can on the roof, you can get some ideas of the route and where to put the tie. :D

Great thanks for the tip, I'd read about the cable tie trick too so will have to give that a try :) seems like a bit of design flaw though hey lol
