Panel van passengers

Post by bikermike87 »

Hi guys,

Looking for info on carrying passengers in my panel van....

It has no windows, only tailgate one. Does it need one? If so, would a sliding door with a window suffice?

Also, are seatbelts a legal requirement? I'm guessing they are, but I can remember travelling in motor homes that didn't have any....

Just looking for legal advice on the matter, incase I'm ever in the rare situation of having a passenger in my syncro. It has a blue bird r&r bed as well.

Thanks! :ok

you dont need windows as far as i am aware, seatbelt wise, you do need them but if you got the middle row of seats out of a caravelle, dont they have seatbelts attached to them?

If you have fixed to the floor side facing seats then belts arent required.

Thanks guys, I think I will go for Lap belts and see how I get on. Looks like the syncro might be my only vehicle soon, so I will need something a bit suitable for passengers.
