Tents/awnings for t25?

Post by James.rigby »

Good morning fellow vw'ers just a quick post as I was thinking last night of how to solve my sleeping arrangements in the van. Then I rembered I read and have seen a few pics about tents and awnigs. Could someone please educate me as what to look for before I buy the wrong type.
Many thanks
Jim

if you use the Search facility (up ^^^ there, top right) you'll find all kinds of info relating to Awnings - you'll also find there's one for everybody's needs.

one bit of advice I would give is, use your van first (maybe borrow a small tent if you desperately need the sleeping space initially) before you buy an awning so that you have more of an Idea of what you want out of it. Some are fast to put up; some offer great living areas; some are really sturdy; some have loads of room for sleeping; some are cheap and some are expensive - have a look around a show and talk to others about their awnings.

:ok

Thanks Karen, im sure it won't be needed urgently as its only for the kids when they decide they find the van attractive but thought I would do the research incase the boss (wife) decides she wants one. I plan on having a good few trips with the van before I take the kids to make sure everything is working as it should.
Many thanks
