Hi Neil
Just bought one. After the trip to Epynt, had some low speed judder. Good job Dr Lee was on board, got diagnosed straight away. Bought one off ebay and delivered the next day!!
Lee is fitting it on Tuesday pm so will let you know what he thinks of quality.
Cheers Rich

Re: front outer joint
Same seller.. cheaper from there website..
Can that price be real?? sounds far too cheap to me.. unless they have found its the same part as fitted to another vehicle that has millions of them running around.. Sounds like a boot kit to me...
(IIRC, many years ago someone mentoned they might be very similar to Golf/Jetta 16v ones, but I think that was a red herring..)
Just to put it in perspective how cheap they are.... Bricky has top quality kits on the shelf.. they are 146 quid......
Did anything come of that interparts "warranty/inspection" etc??

Sorry, but the v-ring seal is missing and the boot looks wrong. It may well 'fit', but its not the original spec.
That second one, £23 ! It's gotta be made of melted-down coke cans in a shed in Shanghai. Isn't there a law against counterfeit goods ?

Nothing. I tried to resurrect the thread by asking that same question but the seller never answered. That only means one thing in my book .....

You might be right as the part number is very similar. I dont know how the number system actually works but the T3 number starts 251 498 099 and the Jetta starts 191 498 099. Does the 191 mean Jetta and the 251 mean T3?

Yeah.. 1st 3 digits is model range... but some parts do swap over from other model ranges..
As prev mentioned, maybe the v seal retainer instalation lip/step isnt there on the 16v ones...
