There is quite a lot written here recently about springs and dampers so a good search should answer a few questions for you but if you have a camper you might want to upgrade to slightly stiffer springs as it will be loaded all the time. if you want to lift it then you might need to look at slightly longer dampers. If you are running it unladen then stick with standard springs

its not a camper.
bought it registered as truck with just the driver and one passengerseat..
Got all wound up because i got the impression that they were fairly uncommon and the pris was right.. Didnt bother to check if it was possible to register it as a private car again..
Fact was... its hard.
Needed to find documents varifing that it once was a personal car or else it would haveto be up to 2011 code, so ive been looking for documents all over the place witch wasent easy because of the age of the buss but i finally managed to get a paper from VAG-sweden telling that it was originally sold with 8 seats.

the plan is as follows. it will need to accomodate 8 people plus camping, climbing and a couple of bikes and a kayak or two.
so my best guess would be pretty heavy when fully loaded so it might require some sort of compromise?
