Van broken down! What could it be HELP!!!!

Just examined it more and its a blue/ white smoke. Plugs 1 and 3 are wet and 2 and 4 are sooted up. There also oil blowing out of one the leaks in the exaust!! Now thats got to be the rings gone hasnt it?????

If you overfill the oil it blows it through the breather tower through the carb and gives similar symptoms to what you describe (been there, done that). Drop and collect the oil and see how much you have. Replace with 4 litres (assuming the filter stays on) clean the plugs and test, this costs nothing to try.

Okay might give it a go. But havent topped the oil up sinse last service in september so surly it would of happened sooner.

You're amost certainly right in that case.

I guess so! Bloody typical i do have a subaru engine to put in it but cant get the wiring done till feb! Shame it didnt hold on untill then! So untill then im on the push bike! Thanks all for your advise anyway!!!!
