Tristar Value

Post by liberty »

I have been offered a very rare vehicle privately. It is a 1989 1.6TD Tristar Synchro Crew Cab. Two owners from new. Regularly serviced and well maintained. In good original condition. Kept undercover. Mileage 183K. RHD. Sunroof. Captains seats. Could any of you experts advise what is a fair price for this rare beast?

That is not a helpful response. I can see how you get your user name! Would no one else please bother to post a similar response.

my goldfish is maxed out, where do you get a balloon credit card ?

I think you'll find the answer is £4k upwards depends on history and exact condition and extras, RHD TD Tristar very rare but very limited market now as then

Pictures say a thousand words. But as already said 4k upwards but there are a lot of variable factors.

The Synchro Tristar crewcab has a high soft top on hoops over the load area but so far as I'm aware no other extras. The diff locks have been regularly operated and work as they should. It would be helpful to have an upper limit to the value range as well as a lower limit.

As the other lads have said v hard to say a value unless seen in the flesh as with any 20 year old vehicle there will be naintanence required somewhere. Any pics? Tristars are lovely vehicles but as aiden says there is a limited Market for them esp rhd to nice for a work vehicle, and too rare/valuable to Offroad. Upper limit there is none really its what people are willing to pay although I'm sure that's gone down a lot in the past few years.

The upper limit is 12k.
Thats in and around the price our well known field find tristar went for after the previous owner lovingly spend £20k worth on it.

I think your in the 3 to 5k bracket. We would love to welcome another rhd tristar syncro into the fold if youve managed to find one outwith the club.
